KEA conducts CET in May 1, 2 and 3, 2013 for admission to first year undergraduate courses like Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/Technology and agriculture courses for the academic year 2013-14.
The agriculture courses that accepts CET ranking are
- B.Sc in Agriculture
- B.Sc in Forestry
- B.Sc in Sericulture
- B,Sc in Agri-Biotechnology
- B.Sc in Horticulture
- Bachelor of Home Science (BHSc)
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSAH)
- B.Tech in Food Technology
- B.Tech in Diary Technology
- Bachelor of Feed Science (BFSc)
- B.Tech in Feed Science & Technology
- B.Sc in Agricultural Marketing
- B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering
KEA official said, "In the past, there were separate entrance exam for these courses that were conducted by the respective universities. We decided to include them under CET as eligibility criteria for them are similar to professional courses like Medical and Engineering. This were ensure that students aren't worried. They can sit for CET and take up various courses under agricultural universities after counselling,"

How To Apply:
Application form can be obtained from the office of Karanataka Examination Authority by sending Demand Draft OR by paying cash OR from the participating institutes admission office.
Important Dates:
Last date for the application: April 05, 2013.
CET 2013 will be held from May 01 to 03, 2013.
Practical examination on agriculture related courses on: May 10, 2013.
Results will be published in: May 27, 2013.
