UPSEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria

The Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow is conducting UP State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2013) from April 20 and 21, 2013 for admission to the Engineering Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Architecture (B.Arch), Hotel Management and Fashion & Apparel Design courses and first year MBA/MCA/MAM dual degree courses commencing in the session 2013-14.

UPSEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Tech, BHMCT, B,Pharm courses, candidates should have to passed 10+2 board examination in relevant discipline with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized board of Examination.
• For admission to B.Arch, Candidates should have to passed 10+2 board examination in relevant discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized board of Examination. The candidate have to passed in equired subject of the compulsory and optional subjects mentioned in the information brochure.
• A candidate possessing three year diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by central/State Govt., Securing minimum 50% of marks in aggregate is also eligible for admission to the first year B.Arch.
• For MBA, Candidates should have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.
• For MCA, Candidates should have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.
• FOR MAM, Candidates should have to passed 10+2 board examination in relevant discipline with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized board of Examination.
• For B.Tech (Lateral entry), Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized board of AICTE approved institutions.
• For B.Pharm Lateral Entry), andidates must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized institutions.
• The Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in State Entrance Exmiantion 2013 subject to the condition for that they must fulfill the eligibility at the time of counseling.
• The details of admissions for NRI and Kashmiri migrants will be published later, in the month of May 2013 according to the norms to be laid down by the Govt. of U.P / AICTE. Such candidates need not to appear in UPSEE 2013.
• State Govt has permitted to fill 20% of total sanctioned seats available in private institutions on the basis of JEE Main 2013 for Engineering/Technology courses.
• State Govt has permitted to fill 20% of total sanctioned seats available in private institutions on the basis of CMAT 2013 for MBA courses.
