The Sagar School farewell to class of 2013

For the students of class 12th of The Sagar School, the poignant moments of their farewell became cherishable memories as they laughed and joked, spoke and became speechless, reminisced and rejoiced, smiled and cried simultaneously. The occasion became more special as it was graced with the presence of the noted footballer and former vice captain of Indian football team, Potsangbam Renedy Singh who was the chief guest as well. Speaking on the occasion this dynamic young player praised the sports facilities at The Sagar School and urged the students to derive maximum benefit from these.

The Chief Guest, Mr. P. Renedy Singh was warmly welcomed and introduced by the Principal Lt Col. Rattanbir Singh. The Principal also welcomed the parents of the outgoing students. He also spoke encouragingly to the students of 12th standard and reminded them that in moments of hesitation, they had to only think of their school and they would feel its strength and energy touching and strengthening them. The Director Ms. Sharmistha Julka speaking on this occasion, urged the students to maintain their intrinsic goodness and that their visits would always be looked forward to. The Vice Principal, Ms Jayshree Balasaria thanked the guests and advised the students to maintain their sensibility and receptiveness towards their teachers and mentors.

The students of class 12th were dressed formally on this occasion and each one walked proudly on to the stage and spoke his/her heart out reminiscing over the past years and relived their moment of fun and happiness together. They thanked the management, teachers but spared no efforts in teasing each other thus underlying their strong sense of camaraderie. Their speeches were beautiful illustrations of special moments at The Sagar School. The Chief Guest and the Principal presented badges, mementoes and a yearbook- REMINISCENCES@SAGAR to all the outgoing students.
