Exams Rescheduled For Social Issues Upset Students

Students Upset Of Bandh- Change Of Exams
As we all are aware of the All India Strike which is called for 20th and 21st of Feb has brought students into mist. Because Schools shall have no leaves says few news reports. And decision to announce for leave for colleges are yet under process, while many students are now worried for their examinations which have been scheduled for 20th and 21st of February.

Well, this is not a newly raised issue for students. This time its due to the bandh they are suffering for but when reviewed about the past years, it shows that students had to face up the same issues due to election polls in a state. What would be the feeling of students when they are well prepared for their exams and they are finally announced that it has been postponed or reschedules.

Well, you may say that they get a day or two more for their preparation. But, once they are depressed by these kind of situations giving a week more time for them may also go useless. Also, their preparation strategy changes to the whole part till the end of exams. Know How?

The examination schedule are always prepared in such a way that students find easy flow of days till the end of exams. Say as the first day of exam which starts after days of leave may be the difficult subject (Which may need more time for preparation), immediately the next day or a day after exam shall come up with languages or practical subjects, due to which they are put out of the heavy stress.

Once the schedule is changed, either they are added in the between of other exams or in the last which extend the days of examination. Which is again the student who has to face it.

There were times when many city schools have rescheduled their semester examination date. The exams that were to be held on time were postponed for about 2 weeks or 3. And the officers say that they have to reschedule examination for safety of children and institution.

Other than the above mentioned exams, a few more universities like Bangalore University and VTU are about to change their exam dates. Rest of the Universities are yet to announce.

The Additional Controller of Examinations(i/c.), DDE., from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai informs that the following two dates of examinations for the students (Tamilnadu / Other States) of MBA (DLP) / MCA (DLP) examinations, November, 2012 held during February 2013 have been postponed. Exams scheduled on 20 Feb is rescheduled for 2nd March, 2013 i.e. on Saturday and the exams scheduled on 21st Feb has been rescheduled for 3rd March, 2013 i.e. on Sunday.

Don't you feel that the regular school or colleges gets disturbed by such bandhs and especially when examinations are on? Hopefully, not again the same situation for students examination during the state poll season.
