TANCET 2013 Online registration starts from 6 Feb

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2013) online registration starts from Feb 6, 2013 for admission to postgraduate courses conducted by Anna University on behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu commencing in the year 2013.

The courses are offered in:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Computer Application (MCA)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech)
• Master of Engineering (ME)
• Master in Architecture (M.Arch)
• Master in Planning (M.Plan)

How To apply:

• Application Form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application.
• The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate in card format) as entrance test fee for any one of the programmes either (1) M.B.A. or (2) M.C.A. Or (3) M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.
• If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he / she has to pay Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).

Registration in Person:
Candidates can appear in person at the Co-ordinating Centres with the following documents:

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet.
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate.
• Entrance Test Fee in the form of Cash (or) Demand Draft.
• SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.

Internet Registration:
Candidates can register through internet by filling-up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown below with the following enclosed:

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet.
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate.
• Entrance Test Fee in the form of Demand Draft.
• An attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).
