The Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur announced the admission notification for BVSc and AUH degree courses for the academic year 2013-14 will be given to students appearing for NEET 2013.


The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi for admission to the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical/Dental courses across the country.

DS Suryawanshi, Director of students welfare, said earlier students appearing for MHT-CET entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Mumbai were given admission to BVSc & AH Degree courses at veterinary colleges in Mumbai, Nagpur, Shirwal, Parbhani and Udgir under NAFSU.

However, as per the directions from the state Animal Husbandry, Diary Development and Fishery Department and criteria of Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhu, MSFAU has decided to admit the students from Maharashtra opn the basis of merit list of NEET 2013, added Suryawanshi.

Eligibility for admission:

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 in science discipline from recognized board of Examination.
  • Candidates should appear for NEET UG 2013.
