GATE 2013 exam centres changed & imp Notifications

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conducts the GATE 2013 entrance exam for admission to postgraduate engineering courses in IITs and IISC.

Some examination centers for GATE 2013 have changed since the time Admit Cards were available for download on 10 Dec 2012. Candidates allotted to these centers have been intimated by email, SMS, and an automated phone call message. However, some phone numbers provided by the candidates are not reachable or are erroneous. Candidates allotted to the following centers are hereby requested to download the admit card again, if they still have the old data printed on their admit card.

The Centre ID shown below is the first four digits of the registration number that appears in the admit card of the candidate. Click the below link to check the changed GATE 2013 centres.

Scribe Requirement:
Candidates who are physically disabled (visually impaired, or unable to use their hands), and require an assistance to read out questions or provide the answers, must contact their Zonal GATE offices on or before 28 Dec 2012.

Admit Card Download:
Eligible candidates can now download the admit card from the GATE Online Applicant Interface. If you have trouble getting the admit card PDF:
You must use a Desktop (not mobile) browser of Chrome, Firefox, or IE.
You may have forgotten your login ID and password.
If none of the above, please contact your Zonal GATE Office with your application ID.

Applicants, who have posted their application (hardcopy) along with the necessary documents before the due date (8 October 2012), are advised to check their application status online and with India Post Website. In case of any discrepancy, they must contact the corresponding Zonal GATE office immediately, along with the documentary proof of posting the application before the due date.
