Mumbai,Maharashtra: Stage-II of Scholarship and Talent Reward Test (STaRT-2013) by Resonance was conducted across India on 13-Jan-2013 (Sunday). Thousands of students across India appeared for the 2-Hour Test conducted in 41 cities of India.

In an Innovative step, to ensure sanctity of the test, extensive photography and videography was done at all 41 Test Venues. The Test saw an enthusiastic turnout of students and parents at all venues.

Resonance, a premier Educational institute of the country, is organizing this nation-wide Academic Talent Search Test. Students of class V to XII (All streams) are participating in this National Talent-O-Meter.

STaRT-2013 is a two-stage test. Stage-1 was conducted in both offline & online mode. The offline test was conducted in schools & at 41 Resonance test centres spread across the country while the online test was conducted on www.resostart.in, the official website of STaRT-2013.

Students scoring more than 60% (Or Top-10% participants, whichever is higher) were declared qualified for stage-II.
The Result of stage-II will be available on event website on Saturday, 2-Feb-2013, while felicitation function will organized on 17-Feb-2013 in Kota, immediately preceded by Champion's camp on 15-16 Feb 2013.

Along with the academic & self-development benefits for students viz National Benchmarking, exposure to real-life academic competition etc., STaRT-2013 is also rewarding 1800 prizes worth INR 75 Lakh to the winning students. Students securing All India Rank (AIR) One in 9 categories will be awarded a Gold Medal and 11-Day trip to USA including a 3-Day space camp at Kennedy Space Center, NASA. AIR-2 students will be awarded 9-Day CERN-ESA-Europe trip and a Silver Medal. AIR-3 students will be awarded Bronze Medal and 6-Day Singapore Trip.

Apart from that AIR-4 & 5 will win a top of the line branded Laptop (Total 18 Prizes). AIR-6 to 10 (Total 45 students) will win a high-end Tablet PC. AIR 11-25 (Total 135) students will stand to win Digital Camera and AIR 26-200 (Total 1575 Students) will win Sports Watch.
Stage-II will be followed by Champions' Camp & Felicitation Function at Kota, Rajasthan. Champions' Camp will be conducted for the Top 100 students of all classes except Class XII. Total 800 students will be invited for the champion's camp.

Champion's camp will be a 3 day event in which expert mentors of Resonance will educate & guide these students with a focus on establishing foundation for future competitive exams.

Resonance has also allocated scholarships of maximum worth of Rs. 4 Crores for the final top 500 students, from each class, if they enroll into Yearlong Classroom Contact Program (YCCP) of Resonance.

STaRT-2013 is also going to reward Rs. 15 Lakhs to Schools, their Principals and Coordinators based on performance & participation of their students in various reward categories across private and government schools.
