The NIT Tiruchi(National Institute of Technology) has come up with its Rotaract Club which is to conduct Mock test for JEE students on January 20. The design is made in such a way to expose JEE aspirants towards the new pattern of Examinations.

The rotaract club members Aravind and Rinit ensured that the new pattern should not be a cause for concern to its students. As students will be appearing for the first examination of its kind, rotaract Club will put them in a state of preparedness. According to them, the exam will help participating students gain insights into the method of questioning. The exposure students would gain from the exam will provide participating students gain confidence in order to crack other Engineering entrance exams also.

NIT-Tiruchi students have been carrying out the awareness every year, to increase the number of students aspiring for entry into the premier institutions. Moreover, this year only top 1.5 lakh students who hold ranks in JEE Main shall be qualified to appear for JEE Advanced, through which they would enter the greater institutions like IIT's, NIT and IIIT's.

Beyond all these, the most interesting fact is that the top ranked aspirants across nation have a distinct advantage as the over all ranking will be based on 40% weightage for the score in class 12 board examination results and 60% for performance in JEE Main.
