Mobile Edu'n Services Proposed By 'Bharati Airtel'

Mobile Education Services Introduced
The very well known and leading telecommunication companies in India 'Bharti Airtel' has now proposed its Mobile Education (mEducation) services on 2nd January, 2013.

This service allows its users to access English learning courses, career counselling and competitive test preparation on their mobile handsets.


The spokesperson of Bharti Airtel revealed that in many parts of India, formal classrooms education can be limited. Mobile platforms have the capability to eradicate these limitations by using modern technology. Also, the Airtel mEducation service utilizes technology-enabled platforms to combat the challenges of education, in an effort to enhance their customer's lives.

Sources say that the mEducation service charges are between Rs. 1.5 to Rs.10 per day. It allows Airtel mobile customers, all over India to effortlessly access a variety of education services, including programs for entrance exam preparation, language skills and career counselling from some of the finest professors and universities in India, simply by pressing a few buttons on their mobile phones.

The service either depends on the format of SMS or IVR (Voice), the courses provide interactive learning in the customer's native language. With addition to this, the company is also offering practice tests for competitive and entrance exams such as MBA (Master of Business Administration) and the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).
