Selection Procedure:
Candidates will selected based on Research Eligibility Test (RET), NET/ GATE scores.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Master's degree in relevant discipline from any UGC recognized university.
Number of Vacancies for Ph.D. programme : 30

- The Application form can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University.
- The filled in form is to submitted to the Head of the Department (Zoology), 35, B. C. Road, Kolkata - 700019.
Important Dates:
Last date for the submission of application form: Feb 02, 2013.
Admission test will be on: Feb 18, 2013.
Date of Interview : February 25, 2013.
Please Note:
Candidates with valid NET/GATE/M.Phil. or Equivalent Qualifications are not required to appear at the admission test but would need to qualify the interview. Reservation will be followed as per rule.
