The expert committee appointed by the Board of Intermediate education to study the implications of NEET on AP Students has found that there are several topics in NEET that are not covered in the inter syllabus.

The committee has come to a conclusion that the inter syllabus for science subjects is no match for NEET, which is based on the NCERT syllabus. The outcome of this is that junior colleges will have to conduct over 250 additional classes from now to cover the NEET syllabus.

It has already sent circulars to principals to send their science teachers for orientation programmes.
