CAT 2012 Results to be declared on 9 Jan 2013

The Common Admission Test (CAT 2012) had conducted from October 11 to November 06, 2012 coordinated by the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. The CAT is an all India entrance test for admission to the IIM's and other reputed institutions across the country. The new entries in 2011 included six IIT's, Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and other 160 management institutes.

Around 2.14 lakh candidates registered for the Entrance exam. The number of testing days this year has been increased to 21 days. Students and experts are said that this year's paper on average and was 'considerable difficult'. According to the statistics provided by the prometric, the testing provider for CAT.

The test is designed to evaluate the management aptitude of a students by testing his analytical and communication skills. It demands up to three to four months of intense preparation. The test is open for all graduates.
