GITAM University GAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria

GITAM University invites application for GITAM Admission Test (GAT 2013), a computer based online test conducted for admission to UG & PG Technology & Pharmacy Programs in GITAM University at its Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses commencing in the session 2013-14.

GAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria:
The following are the criteria for admission to B.Tech. Programs:

• Pass in Intermediate or 12th examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2013 or 2012 subject to securing the following percentage of marks in specified subjects.
• B.Tech. Programs : A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination in single attempt.
• B.Tech. in Biotechnology: A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination in single attempt.
• B.Pharmacy: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics & Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
• Rank obtained in GAT (UGTP) 2013.

For M.Tech. Programs:
Candidates should have Passed in the B.E/B.Tech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and Score obtained in GAT (PGT) 2013.

For B.Pharmacy:
Pass in B.Pharmacy from recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and Score obtained in GAT (PGP) 2013.

Please Note:

• Students who passed in Intermediate or 10+2 examination in 2011 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear for GAT-2013.
• Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. program should qualify in NATA exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Intermediate or 10+2 examination.

Last Date of Receipt of filled in Applications: March 29, 2013.
Online Slot booking: April 05 to 12, 2013.
Download of E-Hall-Tickets: April 05, 2013 onwards.
Online Tests at different Centers: April 17 to May 08, 2013.
Announcement of Test Results: May 20, 2013.
