CIMP Patna Receives Prestigious Award In Mumbai!

Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), a leading management institute, was today accorded the prestigious Dr. J J Irani Award for excellence in management education. Dr. V Mukunda Das, Director of CIMP, received the award on behalf of the institute at a function in Mumbai.

A brainchild of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, it is the only institute from India to receive the award this year.

Dr. Das, a native of Kerala, is known for his academic brilliance and expertise in rural marketing. He has earlier headed the School of Communication & Management Studies (SCMS), Cochin.

For almost 35 years, Dr Das has been engaged in Management Teaching, Research & Consulting, including teaching Post Graduate Management students & Executives in national level institutions like IIM Kozhikode and Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), Gujarat.

A widely travelled person, he has presented his papers in top universities of the world as well as at national and international seminars.
