Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) invites application for admission to Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPP&M) commencing in the session 2013.

Programme Structure:
The Programme is residential in the first year and in the second year the participants continue their dissertation from their work places. In the first year they undergo courses in public policy and general management along with electives in their chosen area of interest. In the second year they are expected to complete their dissertation.

The programme provides conceptual, technical and analytical skills in public policy making. The programme will help in appreciating forces shaping the domestic and international environment for public policy It also enhances soft skills in leadership, decision making, communication, etc. The participants will be undertaking a dissertation which will help them to specialize in the chosen area in public policy field


  • Open Candidates: Graduate with ideally minimum 5 years work experience. Selection on basis of CAT/GRE/GMAT for open candidates.
  • Government Candidates: Should be from All India Services or Civil Services and Engineering Services with minimum 7 years of experience.

Selection Procedure:
The candidates are selected based on CAT/ GMAT/ GRE scores, academic record, work experience and interview conducted by the institute.
