TERI Univ Admissions For Msc In Climate Sciences

TERI University invites applications for MSc in Climate Sciences and Policy for the upcoming academic year. TERI University's roots can be traced back to 1998, when 'TERI School of Advanced Studies' was established. The School was subsequently renamed as the TERI University in October 2006.

This is an intensive four-semester programme intended to imbue present and future professionals in the arena with practical and theoretical knowledge in the scientific and policy issues relevant to climate change.

Eligibility Criteria:
A bachelors degree in Science/Engineering or Economics/Mathematics/ Statistics/Geography with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 6.75 on a 10 point scale or equivalent as determined by TERI University, wherever letter grades are awarded, or 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters of the qualifying examinations), wherever marks are awarded. For candidates with bachelor's degree in Humanities, a relaxation of 5% could be allowed.

How To Apply:

• Admissions for Masters programmes for the academic year 2012-13 are now closed. Call for applications for the next academic year (commencing July 2013) are likely to be announced in end February 2013. Selection Procedure:
• Admission to the M Sc programmes is made on the basis of an online test and interview conducted by the University. Applications are invited from the candidates by advertising the programmes in some leading newspapers every year.

Selection Procedure: The online test will be one-hour long and will consist of one paper with 100 multiple-choice questions.

The questions will be divided into three sections:

* Proficiency in English
* Analytical reasoning
* Quantitative ability

Wrong answers would invite negative marking. This would be followed by an interview.
