Revised Eligibility Criteria for MCA
The Registrar, University of Calcut revised the eligibility criteria for admission to MCA course for the academic session 2012-13 in colleges affiliated to the university.

A pass in any Bachelor's Degree Course of minimum three years duration with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects. In addition to Mathematics or Statistics subjects, following subjects shall also be considered as eligible subject in this aspect.

Discrete Structures, Numerical Analysis, Numerical Methods, Optimization Techniques, Digital Logic Design, Graph Theory, Operations Research, Fuzzy Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Complex Analysis, Design Algorithms, Functional Analysis, Probability, Numerical Skills/ Techniques, Data Structures, Differential Equations.

Candidate should have passed a Bachelor's Degree Course which is recognized by University of Calicut.

Candidate should have scored atleast 50% marks in aggregate (including subjects and languages) in the Bachelor's Degree Course. 5% of relaxation in the marks will be allowed in the case of candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe need only a pass in the Bachelor's Degree Course.

The existing entries under Clause 5.(b).3 of the Prospectus may be treated as cancelled. The candidates are requested to take in account the above revised criteria while registering options.
