The Vice Chancellor, DU Dinesh Singh feels that the earlier proposed changes with regards to the answer papers were under consideration by the examination branch, which was found that the system of writing roll numbers was the best and worked without any issues. This further led to the decision of format being revised.
He said " Under the new scheme, students will be writing out their roll numbers and date of birth along with the name of the course (Paper) that they are appearing for. However, another change is under consideration is that from now on all answer papers issued by the University's examination branch to colleges will be allotted numbers. This recommendation was put forward, so that a record of each script can be kept and in case of any discrepancy could be traced."
Further, in order to reduce the burden on the exam branch. Delhi University has assigned the task of formulating the award sheets of students for the practical examination to colleges. Till the date, the university was preparing the award sheet for both Practical and Theory Examinations.
