KEA Finalyzes PGCET 2012 Seat Allotment Process

PGCET 2012 Seat Allotment Process Ends
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore had conducted the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2012 on July 28 and 29 on different centres all over the State. The PGCET exam was conducted for the admission in to Full Time and Part Time MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.E and M.Arch courses in various institutions across the State.

KEA announced the final seat allotment results, candidates can check their confirmation seats with PGCET ID. Candidates will be able to view the details of seat allotted as per their options priority. Candidates can also view the College‐wise, Course‐wise, Category‐wise cut off rank of Real Allotment as well as the details of un‐allotted seats course wise / category wise.

Around 7,534 candidates in MBA, 2,513 candidates in MCA and 6,231 in M.Tech have collected the admission order at the PGCET 2012 seat allotment process.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in any discipline are required to pay the prescribed fees and should compulsorily report to the colleges on or before the last date mentioned in the admission order and should update the details through their log-In-Id to KEA or they lose their allotted seats.

The candidates should pay the prescribed fees by downloading the allotted details in the Helpline Centres, obtain the admission order and report to the college and immediately login to their Option Entry Log-In-Id and report to KEA that they have joined. If a candidate fails to report back to KEA that they have joined, then seat will be cancelled even though they might have physically joined.

Further any candidate who has paid the fees and obtained the Admission Order and fails to report to the College on or before the last date and time specified by KEA in the Admission Order, for such candidates no extension of time will be given and the allotment made in his favour shall be treated as Cancelled and he / she has no claim further on such allotment and they will not be considered for allotment of seats in the subsequent round. Such seats shall revert back to the pool and fee paid by them will be forfeited.

The Last date for the candidates to report the colleges on Oct 20, 2012. The candidates will have to confirm their status of admission on the KEA website, failing which their seats will be cancelled.
