Here several CEO's participate in this programme, where students bid for an opportunity to spend a day shadowing a CEO of their choice.
Objectives of this Programme :
- It is a twofold programme which engages B-Schools students in the act of giving and provide them with an opportunity of spending a day with a CEO to imbibe valuable leadership lessons.
- More than 50 CEO's have participated in this initiative over the last three years and helped in raising awareness about the concept of social responsibility in corporate India.
About Programme : This programme is open to students of ISB and a few select top B-schools who will participate in an open online auction that will take place from October 5 to 16, 2012. Both the students and the CEO contribute this cause by raising funds which will then go to an NGO of the CEO's choice.
This is a programme mainly based on 'Joy of Giving Week'. It aims at engaging at least one crore Indian's in different 'Acts of Giving'- money, time, resources and skills- spanning the corporate, NGO and Government sectors, schools, colleges and the general public.
Juhee Bhandarkar, marketing co-ordinator for the 'Shadow a CEO' programme said that, "This programme will give students an opportunity to engage with stalwarts in a more informal environment. They will get an opportunity to witness how decisions are made, how leaders drive an organization and what makes them influencers! Spending a day with a CEO is not only inspiring but also a hands-on lesson in leadership and decision making".
However, this is a awesome chance to those students who have always dreamed about being an CEO. What say?
