IIT, Roorkee Opens Ph.D Programme Admission
The Ph.D Programmes are offered in:
Alternate Hydro-Energy Centre, Architecture and Planning, biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Earth Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Hydrology, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Physics, Paper Technology and Water Resources Development & Management.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have an M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc degree in relevant discipline with 60% of marks from a recognized university.
Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on NET/GATE Score, written test and interview conducted by the institute.
How to apply:
- Candidates nee to register and fill the application form online.
- The filled application form along with candidate's signature. IITR copy of bank challan and good quality phoro affixed at the appropriate places are sent to the chairman, PG Admissions offices, IIT Toorkee, Roorkee - 247667 along with necessary documents.
Important Dates:
Last date for submission of online application form is Oct 26, 2012.
Last date for receipt of completed application form is Nov 02, 2012.
