IIT Kanpur To Follow Old Test Pattern
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi recently announced the test pattern for new Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2013.

The students have to take the new Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for admissions in to IITs, NITs, IIITs, Deemed Universities and other central funded technical institutions from April and June 2013. The Joint Entrance Exam will be conducted in two parts, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur would follow the old test pattern for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance, scheduled to be held in the year 2013 would be conducted on the old pattern.

IIT Kanpur conducts paper based test and they remained same in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics paper. The exam would be in two shifts. 3 hour long each. The questions would be objective type.

The JEE Advanced will be conducted by IITs across the country on June 02, 2013. The paper will be both in English and Hindi.

Eligibility for JEE Advanced:
The candidates have to first appear in the JEE Main to be conducted by JEE Board. The JEE (Main) will be held during the month of April 2013 on both online and offline.
