One of a parent present their said that "The Government had allowed private colleges to fill the left over seats on their own. Though the government has given private colleges the freedom to loot candidates and ended transparency in the admission process. There should be a centralized counseling for the seats, as it was scheduled earlier".
"If the Government is sincere, why doesn't it allow the BFUHS to conduct centralized counseling", added another parent. "This is only a policy to divert attention from controversy. After September 15, the seats will go back into the hands of private colleges, and there will no transparency again", he added.
According to the sources it is revealed that last year too, some private colleges had enrolled ineligible candidates just in order to fill up the vacant seats. Parents have ensured that they shall move towards court if the admissions are not transparent. Since private colleges have orders to reschedule counselling they (Parents) were afraid that the candidates will be selected in secret and only a counseling notice will appear in newspapers.
The Vice chancellor of BFUHS has confirmed that the university will accept applications and process further. He said "The latest instructions to us from the Government are being uploaded on our website."
