The main aim of the conference was to provide a forum to network and exchange ideas among the principals of more than 100 schools which participated in this event. It included the sessions on leadership in schools, pedagogy, curricula and assessment. "The need of the hour is to install moral values and environmental consciousness among students in the present challenging educational scenario, apart from providing Education as per the syallabus", said the Chief Guest.
There was a presentation on Emotional intelligence by Avneet Kaur an educational psychologist and certified trainer and facilitator. She stressed on the need to incorporate it as a core curriculum component in order to create more circumspect decision-makers and more successful, creative students and problem solvers.
The event progressed with the address by Stanley, president of the association of ICSE and ISC schools, northern region, and the presentation of report of the association by Sister Rita Maria, Secretary-treasurer of the association of ISC and ICSE schools.
It was followed by the elections for the executive committee of the association and finalization of the venue for the next zonal competitions. The principals of various schools discussed the different issues they faced throughout the academic year and shared their concerns and commendations with the associations.
