B'lore University Starts PG Counselling On 30 Aug

Counselling for admission to postgraduate courses in Bangalore University (BU) starts from 30th August, 2012.

Candidates are hereby notified top bring any corrections to the notice of the admission committee before August 25. The final omnibus list will be notified on August 28 and the first semester of PG Classes will commence on 10th of September.

The Bangalore University has received 8,773 applications. Science appears to be a favourite with 4,191 followed by 3,340 for Arts and 2,764 for Commerce. Also, this year the number of girl candidates are increased that of compared to boys.

Important dates :
Counselling will start based on the separated seats as mentioned below :

For the supernumerary seats on August 30.
For Faculty of Commerce from August 31 to September1.
Faculty of Law and education on September 3.
Faculty of Science from September 4 to 6.
Faculty of Arts from September 7 to 9.
