Nagpur:Polytechnic Admission Open.DTE Schedule Out

The DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) has declared its schedule for distribution of seats for admissions in polytechnic courses for the academic session 2012-13. According to the sources, this year it seems that students have turned away from these course like the trend prevailing since last five years.

Against 23,000 seats, only 15,000 forms were submitted. In all probability, nearly 8,000 seats might go vacant this year for the post SSC Engineering Diploma courses.

Please Note :

• According to the notice provided by DTE the admission schedule shall be declared on 19th of July, Thursday followed by the online submission of first round option forms from 20-23 July, 2012.
• The provisional list will be displayed on 25th July.
• The last date of reporting to the institute as per allotment in CAP round is August 30.
• The Provisional allotment of second round will be displayed on 7th August.

The round of admission by counselling for third round, in person, is scheduled for August 17 while the new academic session will commence on 13th August. The cut-off date for all types of admissions for the coming academic session is August 25, 2012.
