Jain University, Bangalore invites application form for Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) Programmes commencing in the session 2012.

The Ph.D Specializations are offered in:
Biotechnology, Commerce, Biochemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Electronics, Computer science, Computer Science Engineering, Management, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, English, Aerospace Engineering, Kannada, Fire Engineering, Hindi, Earthquake Engineering, Sanskrit, Economics, History, Cultural Studies, Public Governance and Administration, Music, Psychology, Dance, Political Science, Visual Arts, Mass Communication.

Eligibility:

• Candidate should hold a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC / ST) of marks from a recognised university.
• Candidates who are qualified for CA or ACS or ICWA with basic degree are also eligible to register for Ph.D. in this category. For more details please click here.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on Entrance test and Personal interview conducted by the University.

Important Dates:
Last date for the submission of application form is July 28, 2012.
Entrance Test will be held on Aug 05, 2012.
Interviews will be held on Aug 10 & 11, 2012.
