Calcutta University Opens PhD in Physics Admission
Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Master's degree in relevant discipline from any UGC recognized university.
Selection Procedure:
- Candidates who have already passed UGC/ CSIR(JRF) Examinations/ NET/ SET/ SLET/ GATE/ Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations or passed the M.Phil./M.Tech or equivalent examination need not appear at the written examination, but have to appear at the interview.
- The eligible candidates will have to appear in a written MCQ examination of 1 hour duration to be held in this Department.
How to apply:
- The Application form can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University.
- The filled application form along with demand draft or cash of Rs. 100/- obtainable from College Street Campus (Sales Counter) should be submitted to the department of physics.
Important Dates:
Last date for the submission of application form is July 26, 2012.
Written test will be held on July 30, 2012 at 12.00 PM.
