EAMCET-2012 Result Analysis-State Toppers List Out

EAMCET-2012 Results have been declared on Friday, 29th June at 6PM. AP EAMCET was held by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. The results were released by Sri Damodar Raja Narasimha, the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.

The Examination was held on 12th June, 2012. A total of 3,89,649 candidates registered for the EAMCET-2012 examination. Out of them, around 2,94,131 were registered for Engineering and 95,518 for Agriculture and Medical stream. The exam was conducted in almost 26 regions across the state.

The percentage of attendance for Engineering was 96.38 and for Agriculture and Medical was 95.18. Both the test consisted of 160 multiple choice questions. Utmost care was taken to prevent malpractice and cases of impersonation by providing candidate's specific OMR's and Nominal Rolls with photograph, name and DOB.

Candidates thumb impressions were taken on the Nominal Rolls as well as online filled application form in the Examination hall for verification of genuiness of the candidates. A total of 19,480 invigilators, 800 observers, 40 special observers for the Regional Centres, 190 Enforcement Officers for each Agriculture and Medical Test Centre along with flying squads monitored the smooth conduct of examination.

Moreover, Revenue, Treasury, Police Officials, APSRTC, APGENCO, Education Institutions Co-operated for smooth conduct of the Examination. With all such security actions still, eight malpractice cases in Engineering stream were reported. The performance of eight candidates in EAMCET 2012 examination has been cancelled.

According to the reports, 90917 candidates had appeared for the examination, among them 83696 were qualified in EAMCET, number of passed candidates is 77800, failed candidates-4606 and around 1280 students have no details of qualifying their Examination.
