The vice Chancellor of Ranchi University LN Bhagat said “The vocational courses usually gives on-the-job training and one can enroll into these courses after completing his/her intermediate studies. This semester, we will introduce new vocational courses like PG Diploma in Journalism, TV and Video Production and functional Urdu and Persian. Besides putting an end to this trend of migration, we would also make efforts to attract students from other states as every college in the city offers quality vocational or add on courses”.
“We impart vocational training in subjects including biotechnology, IT, Computer Maintenance, Insurance and Human Rights and we will conduct entrance test for admission to those courses”, said the Principal of Marwari College Manju Sinha.
Among the vocational courses, computer application and information technology are highly in demand, followed by BBA and fashion designing courses, available in four colleges of the city. Well, this start shall be a raising hope for many students of Jharkhand.
