VIT University Conducts VITMEE 2012 on June 9 & 10

VIT University, Vellore invites application form for VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE-2012) for admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in Chennai and Vellore campus commencing in the session 2012-13.

Exam Pattern:
The computer based test (CBT) question Paper consists of 110 questions, with a maximum of 100 marks. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.

Eligibility:
For MCA:

• Candidates should have a bachelor degree in any branch with at least one of the following subjects at the under graduate level: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics and Business Mathematics. With 60% of marks from recognized university.
• Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

For M.Tech;

• Candidates should have an B.E / B.Tech degree in Engineering / Technology discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on VITMEE Score and interview conducted by the university.

Last date for apply of application form is May 25, 2012.
Last date for receipt of application form is May 28, 2012.
VITMEE 2012 will be held on June 09 & 10, 2012 at 10 AM to 12 PM & 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM.
