386 Answer Sheets Missing, Inter Results Withheld

The Nellore district, which had its Inter examination recently,the results were withheld because the Physics paper answer sheets of 386 Inter Students were found missing. The Board officials came to know about the missing answer sheets when their results were withheld.

According to the complaints from students and after a preliminary inquiry, board officials said the sheets had been lost during transportation. On speaking to the Express, BIE secretary M Subramanyam said the postal department transports the answer sheets every year through speed post.

It was the postal department who was assigned to take the answer sheets of all students at CAMHS College centre in Nellore to Vizianagaram, but the answer sheets of some 386 candidates did not reach the destination.

However, the Board officials have come across a decision that, if the papers are not found, a re-exam will be held before May 10.
