A New Girl Child Scholarship Scheme 2012 By SOF

For the second time, Scholarships specially for girl children is brought into act. SOF- Science Olympaid Foundation on launching its 2nd scholarship plans is inviting applications for Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS) 2012 from economically poor girls to continue their school education.

GCSS aims to provide financial assistance to girls from the economically weaker section, to enable them continue their school education. 150 needy girls will be provided with an education scholarship amounting of Rs.10000/- each for their education for 1 full year.

Girls will be selected from nominations received from schools in India. The Eligibility criteria, features of scheme and downloadable application form is available in the LINK.

Please Note : Last date to apply for scholarship is June 30, 2012 Saturday.
