This unconventional method of counselling is implemented only in the AIEEE- All India Engineering Examination. Counselling taken online is also the same as the other counselling where they help and guide many students to overcome their personal problems, education issues, college selection and more.
Students opinion based on this online counselling is as follows: “Online counselling will be more convenient to us. It will save time as we don’t have to wait in long queues during the sessions. However, if online counselling is not planned propoerly, it will cause confusions among them. I prefer Online counselling, as just visiting the website at home is more easier than going to the college and waiting there, said Amala Poli, stduent of Mount Carmel College.
Another student Chitra Patil from Oxford PU College said “It is good now that there is an option for online counselling. Students will have all the details and updates available at their home itself. But this news doesn’t help people like me who don’t have internet access at home. I would prefer face-to-face counselling, which is more interactive, over online counselling.
Bharat Kumar from Oxford PU College said “This is a good news. In fact fast-paced world where everyone irrespective of profession wants to manage time perfectly, time management becomes important, which online counselling provides. However, this is a good move by CET Board as online counselling is going to ease my selection of college.
What do you think is better? Online Counselling or Face-To-Face Counselling?
