IIT, Bombay opens M.Tech, Ph.D & M.Phil Admissions

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay invites applications for Master of Technology (M.Tech), Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programs commencing in the session 2012.

Eligibility:
For M.Tech:
Candidates should have an B.Tech / B.E degree with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

For Ph.D:
Candidates should have a Master's degree in relevant discipline with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

For M.Phil:
Candidates should have a Master's degree in relevant discipline with 55% (50% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on GATE / CSIR / UGC / NBHM / DBT score or DST Inspire Award or Fellowship and interview conducted by the institute.

How to apply:

• The Application form and Prospectus can be downloaded from official website of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
• The application fee is Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST) to be paid by Debit Card / Credit Card / SBI Internet Banking / Online Payment System / Demand draft in favor of 'Registrar, IIT Bombay' payable at SBI or Canara Bank, IIT Powai / Mumbai branch.
• Candidate should write his/her name, Department, Application number or GATE registration number and Email address on reverse side of the demand draft.
• Applications without online payment details/ Demand draft will not be considered.

Important Dates:
Last date for submission of application form for M.Tech is April 02, 2012.
Last date for submission of application form for Ph.D is April 04, 2012.
Last date for submission of application form for M.Phil is May 05, 2012.
