IIT, Roorkee opens PG, Ph.D & PDF Admissions 2012

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee invites applications for admissions to postgraduate, Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) and Post-Doctoral Fellowship programs commencing in the session 2012. The Postgraduate programmes are Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Architecture (M.ARch) and MURP.

Important Note:
Candidates may apply maximum for four Departments and 14 different programmes but only one application form is to be filled-up. Fee of Rs. 100/- per additional department shall be payable by the candidate.

Eligibility:
For M.Tech:
Candidates should have an B.Tech / B.E degree with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

For M.Arch:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, design and architecture with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

For Ph.D:
Candidates should have an M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc degree in engineering from a recognized university.

Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on GATE Score, written test and interview conducted by the institute.

How to apply:
Candidates for admission PG / Ph.D and PDF programmes are required to download bank challan from IIT Roorkee.

For PG and Ph.D:
Candidates are need to be register and fill the application form online by official website of IIT Roorkee.

For PDF:
Application form can be downloaded from the official website of IIT Roorkee.

Important Dates:
Last date for submission of online application form is April 20, 2012.
Last date for receipt of completed application form is April 25, 2012.
