As per the guidelines, proposal to set up Sanskriti type school in any State Capital may be initiated by the State Government or association of All India Services/ Central Civil Services Officers is consultation with the Central Government Employees Co-ordination Committee justifying the need to set up such a school at that Station.
A proposal to open a sanskriti type school in Shillong, Meghalaya has been received. However, no decision has yet been taken on the proposal. The information was given by the Minister of State of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions V.Narayanaswamy, in written reply to a question asked in Lok Sabha.
What Is a Sanskriti School?
Sanskriti School is a public service oriented, non profit organization, with the spouse of the serving Cabinet Secretary as its Chairperson.
