Bombay Zone Sails On Disappointment For GATE-2012

GATE 2012 Results were out on just before today ie.. on 15th of March, 2012. The Bombay zone has secured the second last number of candidates qualifications qualifying for Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering- GATE 2012. It has secured 12,287 number of students qualifying for the GATE out of the eight zones across the country.

Bombay could only beat Guwahati where 5,058 candidates passes the GATE 212 Exam. GATE being an international test for the M.Tech and Ph.D programmes at all the IIT's - Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

All other colleges also accept the Scores of GATE Exam. IIT Delhi leading all other zones tops the list. A total of 7,77,134 candidates registered for GATE 2012 out of which 6,86,614 candidates appeared for the exam.

The number of candidates appearing for GATE 2012 Entrance Exam from each of the zones are as following :
