Indian University & Mozambique To Educate Students

Indian University Joins Mozambique
India based OP Jindal Global University (JGU) signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with University of St.Thomas based in Mozambique (USTM) to provide international career opportunities to the students. Sources from USTM revealed that this MoU is an initiative towards educational collaborations to take place between India and Africa, this exhibits the affect of globalization and the requirement of encouraging international career opportunities for students of Mozambique.

Government of Mozambique has shortlisted about 15 female candidates from various provinces for full-time scholarship to enroll for different degree courses at OP Jindal Global University based in Sonipat, Haryana. Sources from JGU revealed that university's growing networks with Mozambique is a unique example of south-south co-operation, where an Indian university is supporting a fellow developing country is capacity building in the spirit of global understanding, shared learning and equality.

In Mozambique, out of about 20,000 people, nearly 1000 are Indian nationals. Majority of them belong to Goa, Gujarat and Daman & Diu.
