Comed-K PGET 2011 Results Are Out, Kerala At Top 1

Comed-K (Consortium of Medical Dental and Engineering Colleges of Karnataka) which is Medical PGET Exam has finally come out with its results. Comed-K which was held on February 9th, 2012 results reveal that Kerala took the top ranks of 1, 2, 6 and 7. Karnataka achieved in acquiring 4 ranks in the top 10 list. Both Chandigarh and Andhra Pradesh took one rank each.

This years top 10 list consists of only 3 boys whereas girls steel the show, all the 7 positions were taken by the girls. A candidate named Padma Menon from Kerala has topped the Comed-K exam. In addition, she has taken the very first position in the Manipal Education and Research (JIPMER) exam. She is currently waiting for the All-India Entrance Exam Results.

Nearly, 12,909 candidates applied for the PG Medical Exam. 3,246 ie..25% of candidates were from Karnataka. The total ranks announced were 9,702 with 2,758 candidates from the state. 5,509 candidates had applied for dental PG Entrance Test among them 4,683 ie..85% of candidates were from outside the state. Nearly 4112 were eligible for the seat selection process.

Around 16% consisting of 661 candidates were from Karnataka, 4 from Maharashtra who grabbed positions in the top 10 list. In the RGUHS PGET 2 Karnataka candidates Noor Saira Wajid Najma Hajira and Aman Sachdev were ranked 9 and 10 respectively. The seat selection process for Comed-K will be held in April 2012.
