Himachal Board Exams Invigilation By Ex-Servicemen

Himachal Board Exam Invigilated Strictly
Himachal Pradesh is on a serious task to hire retired armed forces personnel to invigilate during School Board exams across the state. On a total of 32 Ex-Servicemen will be appointed in order to guard against cheating in Classes 10 and 12 final exams.

The Board Chairman Balram Sharma said “These Ex-servicemen would be posted at sensitive examination centers in the board examinations that begins on March 2, 2012 ie.. tomorrow. The services of the former defense personnel have been hired for the first time.”

In board's parlance, a 'sensitive' examination centre is that which has a history of mass cheating. The board had identified 121 sensitive and 90 hyper sensitive examination centres. According to the board around a maximum count of 146,278 will appear for Class 10 Board Exams and 108,774 will take their Class 12 Final Exams.
