Class Pics Added In FB, 4 College Girls Suspended

A Local college here today suspended four girls for allegedly uploading pictures of a classroom, clicked through mobile phones and adding them on their Facebook Accounts.

As if to rub in it, the college authorities announced the suspension and imposition of a fine of Rs 200/- each on the face-book walls of these four girls. Anybody in the friend-list of a person on the face-book can post message on his or her wall which may be read by all others in the list.

The director of Lal Bahadur Professional Studies College Mr. Rajiv Khare said “There is a ban on using mobile phones in the college, despite that these four girls have taken pictures of the classroom and uploaded them on the site. Some other students have also commented in a bad taste on the uploaded pictures which led them too in facing action.

However, the director also said that college was thinking of organizing a workshop for students on how to handle the social networking sites.
