NIIT- India's Largest IT Aptitude Test On Feb19

NIIT, the leading Global Talent Development Corporation and Asia's largest IT Trainer, has announced to conduct Country's largest IT Aptitude Test on Feb 19th, 2012. It is the 8th National I.T.Aptitude Test (NITAT) which is conducted in order to enable students and graduates to ascertain their aptitude for the IT Industry. 'NITAT 2012' will be conducted in almost 200 cities across nation simultaneously on the scheduled date.

Students can find out the benefits of appearing in the 8th NITAT and register online by logging on to www.niit.com or by visiting the nearest NIIT Centre. NITAT has been designed as an objective type test of reasoning, comprehension data interpretation skills and behavior traits. Every student undergoing the test will receive a score-card with their interpretation, along with his/ her nationwide and zonal ranking.

The assessment is expected to be of particular benefit to graduating students in determining their aptitude for IT careers as well as IT domain that they should take up. As per the industry figures announced by NASSCOM, the Indian IT/ ITes sector is on a sustained growth trajectory, despite the challenging global market scenario. The sector continues to be one of the largest employers in the country directly employing about 2.8 million professionals, with over 230,000 jobs being added in FY2012.

NIIT's pioneering initiative – NITAT, was introduced in 2004 to enable graduates and students pursuing their studies in engineering, arts, commerce and science streams to gauge their aptitude for a career in the IT sector. Over 4,20,000 candidates have been benefited from the test since it was initiated.
