EAMCET-2012 Entrance on May 12 By JNTU, Hyderabad

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad conducts Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET 2012) on May 12 for admission in to first year Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2012-2013 in the University and Private unaided & affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Exam Pattern:
The exam will have only objective type questions in all the three areas. Applicants should select the correct option from all the options which are given to them. There will be a total of 160 questions which will be available for about 160 marks.

For Medical :
Physics – 40 questions
Chemistry – 40 questions
Biology (Botany and Zoology) – 80 questions

For Engineering :
Mathematics – 80 questions
Chemistry – 40 questions
Physics – 40 questions

For Agriculture :
Physics – 40 questions
Chemistry – 40 questions
Biology – 80 questions

Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in relevant discipline with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from recognized board of examination.
