
CAT 2011 which was conducted across 36 cities in the country comprised of 2.05 lakh students who had appeared for the Entrance exam. But, a very fewer lucky candidates among the huge count of 2.05 lakh received a call from the coveted IIMs. Among them, a candidate who is presently working with the Tata Consultancy Services, said that he has scored 100% with 99.73 in the quantitative section and 99.99 in the verbal ability section. As of now, he has got an interview call from IIM-Ahmedabad and hopes to make it to at least one of the IIMs.
For candidates below 100%, they can hope for admissions in institutes such as the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) and SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. A candidate who scored 97 percentage, said that she had taken the help of a writer, who dictated her question during the exam. She has computed the answers and marked them. She is now hoping to get a call from the IIMs and FMS which she was primarily targeting for.
