SC/ ST/OBC Entrepreneurs Get Loans Upto Rs.5 Lakhs

The Chief Minister of Delhi Shiela Dikshit announced that the entrepreneurs from SC, ST, OBC and minority communities will now get loans of nearly 5 lakh from the Delhi Government instead of Rs.1 lakh. After laying the foundation stone of a Women Wing in an Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) Dikshit said “We have decided to raise the existing limit of Rs.1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.”

The government provides loans to youths from SC, ST, OBC and minority communities for self employment as well as to start entrepreneurship. She claimed that her government has been putting special emphasis on improving skills of youths in the city, also she said that the facilities at ITI, Nand Nagri are being expanded as a part of the effort.

MP Mr. Jai Prakash, Revenue Minister Raj Kumar Chauhn, and senior officials of education department were present on the occasion Dikshit also said- the Women Wing will cost around Rs.3.50 crore, and a new ITI in North-East District will be set up soon.
