The source say that the evaluation process will not be affected by this switching to language in any ways. Apart from this, a copy of the question paper will automatically be E-Mailed to every candidates after the online exam. In the same procedure, under offline mode of exam a similar feature is provided to only those who opt for the paper in Hindi. Hence the question paper is available in both the languages. This facility is kept apart from the English medium candidates while attempting the offline examination.
The AIEEE 2012 examination in Online mode is scheduled from May 7 to May 26, whereas the offline mode examination will be conducted on April 29, 2012. It is said that the candidates attending online exam will have advantage of extended time period for preparation, also three hours of online exam will be held twice daily starting at 9am in morning session and afternoon session at 2 pm.
On discussion of this change Mr. Abhishek Bansal, the owner of a private coaching institute, said “The frequency of exam and language are minor issues. It's the nature of questions which matters more for students. Every student wishes to be presented with a question he/she has prepared for. I have not recommended any version to my students, let them decide for themselves. For the next year, I would give preference to the offline mode examination”.
Despite all the benefits of online examination, some coaching institutes still suggest students for opting for offline tests. According to them, the advantages of online version are not very attractive.
