DU Placement Cell Extends Last Date To Oct 30

Students who have not registered their names with the Delhi University has a golden opportunity on their way. Delhi University, which had the Placement Registration this month with the due date notified as 15th October, has extended it with 15 more days to end at 31st October. The University, till 15th, has a registered count of 14,000 candidates with its central placement cell.

It is the first time that the DU Placement cell is furnishing to students with School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) in addition to the regular candidates it registers every year. This was the main reason to extend the timings to get registered. So the registration process will be until 31st. Later the Placement session will begin from 8th of November.

The deputy dean of Students said, “As Saturday and Sunday is the time when non-collegiate students visit the University in order to register their names, and we want to give them some more time to join us.” As a result to this extension, the registration for companies also gets automatically extended and the further steps will be reviewed only after October 31st .
