XLRI, School of Business and Human Resource is inviting Applications for XAT 2012 Entrance exam. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8th January, 2012 and registrations are to end on 31st of December, 2011. All those candidates who are interested to join Management course can enroll their names and get registered to go further.

Here are some important dates regarding this exam:

Last date to get XAT Bulletin (including online registration) is 20th September, 2011
Last date to submit the form is 31st December, 2011
Receipt of XLRI forms : 5th January, 2012
Results will be declared by the end of January, 2012
The admit card can be downloaded from the Mid-week or Last-week of December,2011
The timings of the exam is : test will be of 2 ½ hours i.e. from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

The Eligibility required to get registered for XAT2012 exam: Candidates should have completed graduation or must be pursuing final year of graduation for Provisional admission. Candidates who have their education pattern such as 10+2+3 can also apply. It is also necessary to have a work experience of full-time job with minimum of 5 years, to take this exam.

The test pattern is as follows: Total questions - 127, XAT question Paper have 3 sections; (Reading Comprehension & English - 40 Questions, Quantitative Ability - 44 Questions, Data Interpretation and Reasoning - 43 Questions) and every question is of 1 mark each and negative marking is 1/3rd for first five wrong answers and 1/2 marks for more than 5 questions in each sections .

XAT 2011, when conducted last year, came up with lots of surprises for the students. Also the exam was kind of difficult and tricky which led to be tough and time consuming for the students. As a result, the cut-offs were out of the graph to be followed. XAT can be described as a toughest exam when compared to all the Management exams.
